Eco Groups

A study in 2010 suggested that a tenth of the UK adult population is involved with some kind of environmental group, whether that be through volunteering, by regular donations or membership. An increasing awareness of the dangers of ignoring the environmental warnings of scientists and politicians as well as the fantastic work being done to educate the general poplulation by charities and eco groups is leading to a much more environmentally aware population in the UK. On this page we give a run down of some of the Eco groups acting in the UK to raise awareness of the importance of saving our national woodlands, forests and national parks.
